The II. Cologne Symposium of the Digital Cemetery 2024

From 07 – 08 October 2024, our II Cologne Symposium of the Digital Cemetery took place – an event that offered insights into the future of cemeteries and their digitalization over two days. We are delighted with the large number of registrations and the positive feedback!

The Cologne Symposium is much more than a simple conference – it is a forum in which cemetery administrations deal intensively with the future topic of “digitalization”. Digitization does not stop at cemeteries. There is no way around modernizing the administrative processes at cemeteries. Digitalization is increasingly becoming a prerequisite for efficient, sustainable and future-proof processes. This is precisely where the Cologne Symposium comes in.

With the symposium, we are creating a platform where experts from cemetery administration can network, share their experiences and knowledge and listen to exciting presentations. We are organizing the Cologne Symposium not only because such a format does not yet exist, but also because the topic is of crucial importance for the future of cemetery management.

We can look back on a successful Digital Cemetery Symposium 2024 and are delighted with the positive feedback. Planning for the Cologne Symposium 2025 has already begun. Be part of it too! You can find all information on the following website: friedhof-symposium.de

We started in 2011 as an engineering office for geoinformatics and initially worked on a large number of projects relating to the processing of geodata for public administrations.
